I've edited my review because I didn't realize this was only for leather. It's my fault for not reading the entire description. I assumed it was for metal as well since that is what I put in search but I realized this when I was looking for a different set. So I'm still returning item because I need metal stamps but I needed to correct my review.

The letter A is so badly cast that it’s not useful. Will order another one, make sure I have a good set between the two and send this one back. Typical non-existent QC.

First couple of hits weren't heavy enough. Once I realized how hard I needed to hit the punch, the impressions were great.
