This sure seemed like a good idea - copper instead of plastic. Not! It rotted out and flooded my basement in less than a year. Buy the plastic one.

A float either works or it doesn't. This one does. It's not better than any other float or worse. It's simply a float and it works.

I am an artist that uses these floats in sculpture made of copper and brass. The only bad thing is that one of the two ordered had a dent in it when it arrived. Packaging was not adequate to avoid damage.
