Lifts the firewood off the base of your fireplace to prevent damage. Update. Product collapsed in the middle after using about 4 days. Very disappointing

Was not sure what I was getting until it got here, the cradle part that holds the work is made of hollow tube metal that won't last very long at fireplace temps.Going to try it out but quite sure it won't last very long.

Grate legs (4 ea) 3 are correct hole configuration, 1 is not, resulting in grate cannot be assembled without drilling new holes which would weaken the whole assembly.
