This was a gift for my mom who has pretty poor eyesight - she was always a sewing and crafts person so I was hoping this would get her back into crafts. Not gonna lie, it was tricky to set up and the directions were a little less than stellar, but after some struggle and not giving up... I was able to get this set up for my mom (I think correctly? I had to google it...) It seems sturdy and is large enough my mom can see what she's doing.

Nice size for a handheld loom. I've always enjoyed weaving and this gives me the ability to do bigger projects. It's very well built and easy to string.

I've ordered several similar looms (different companies) for myself and friends. They are usually not finished with varnish or whatever. This one was. It really makes a big difference in the look, feel, and function of the loom. I will buy exclusively from this person if/when I buy another. This is the best I've found so far. There are lots of "knock offs," so be vigilant when you buy. This one is: WILLOWDALE 25.2"H x 19.3"W Weaving Loom. Perfect size for placemats. You can buy larger and smaller, which I own also; that's why I have an opinion about these products.

I lowered my review - as I began weaving, I discovered that the heddle needs support . The threads can shift out of the slots and the heddle slips down the side of the loom.The loom is smooth and doesn't snag at all which I appreciate.

This seems like a good weaving frame. The wood is smooth and varnished. The assembly instructions are clear and the pieces were easy to put together. Seems fairly sturdy.
