I have put this hammer through H E double L!!! I’m a millwright so I’m always using a big hammer! The head doesn’t disform from hitting anything smaller such as a bolt, handle is very durable and well constructed for grip and consistent swinging!

This short sledge makes for a fantastic experience, most sledgehammers have 36 inches of handle which is nice but sometimes you need a shorter length because of tight confines. This has a softer steel than most sledgehammers which has both benefits and drawbacks. But with my uses being automotive and maintaining the softer steel and short handle are awesome.

Ive gone through quite a few beaters as i tend to beat up the iron daily and this one is by far the best one i have ever owned. Never am i gonna go back to anything else. I promise you will love this hammer. Plus i like how the swing is pretty balanced out. Nothing i know of can compare. Thanks for awesome quality wilton. Definitely worth my money.

Been loving this beater. Heavier feeling than most 8 pounders, likely due to the weight in the handle. Hits like a 10. Expensive, but worth it after you replace a few handles. No worries about breaking the head off or it coming loose when you're smashing in pins on the iron.Looses one star due to the handle being kind of slippery and requiring a tape job which I had hoped to get away from with the built in "grips".

I have had the hammer for two years and it is great but I have Noticed head to the Handle is coming loose and I don't know Who to call or email but I have other hammer from the Company and they are great
