I am hosting an open house soon and plan to offer a dessert mini donut bar, so I ordered a set of these pans to make my donuts. They are high quality pans and I love how the donuts turned out, so I ordered a second set of them for making large batches of donuts.In practicing making different donuts, I found these mini pans to be quite difficult to fill without splattering batter everywhere. I solved that problem by using a cake decorating syringe to dispense the batter, and this made it a very easy task with the donuts coming out much more uniformly in size. I also found that a full syringe was perfectly portioned to fill one pan of 12 mini donuts, and the syringe can handle slightly lumpy banana bread donut batter, too. I definitely recommend these mini donut pans as a high quality product, but my tip is to use them in conjunction with a cake decorating syringe for easy donut making.

Definitely a learning curve. Have to get the fill percentages dialed. I ended up scooping all the batter into a large ziplock and cutting a corner, using like a pastry bag. Don't over fill the molds or you basically end up with a muffin. I found half filled worked the best. Either way, tasty experiment

They are definitely MINI donuts. Not half-sized or even quarter-sized. They come our SMALL. But the pans are very heavy and clean up very easily.

I love these mini donut pans. They are of very good quality, made with a heavy metal and a quality non-stick surface. My donuts turned out evenly baked and released from the pan easily. The only thing I would recommend is not filling the openings too full. My first try using these pans I filled them more than I should, thinking this was an adequate amount of donut dough. This batch of donuts turned out looking like little donut muffins. They did bake evenly and tasted wonderful!I would order these again.
