This pot is unusable for me. It takes FOREVER to heat up water, and the water never, never reaches a rolling boil.

well made and sturdy. This is no cheap Chinese pot....made in Korea. The Brasier is just short of 16 inches wide from inner wall to inner wall. From outside handle to other outside of handle its 20 1/2 inches wide, so it has a large footprint. 5 1/4 inch depth. Fits easily inside a normal oven.
