Easy to use. It’s sharp on one side so you can put butter on toast then cut it. It’s a good size . Seems like it will last awhile.

When I was younger I worked the sandwich line in a restaurant complex in lower Manhattan. I have made a custom sandwich every 45 seconds all day long. That is where I learned about this wonderful wonderful knife. There were about 10 of us on the line and every one of us had one of these and nothing else would have done the job. One side for spreading, enough spring to make spreading a real thing, serious serrations on the other side for cutting and splitting. Even if you only make one sandwich a month you will appreciate all the thought that went into crafting this lovely cool.

The item description states 10.43 inches overall, whereas the product delivered is 7.62 inches overall. The actual item is perfect for its intended use. A longer one would not serve as well. The price is the best.
