Although the intended purpose of this is as a wine bucket, I purchased it to use as a compost bin to hold used coffee grounds prior to putting them into the outdoor compost. I found a pot lid that fits it perfectly, making it a very stylish way to deal with used grounds. Plus, it replaces my knock box for my espresso machine, and the wide opening eliminates any grounds splashing out of the portafilter onto the counter.It's well made - better than I expected for the price. Highly polished inside and out. The dimensions are 8 3/8 inches at the top, 5 1/2 inches at the bottom, and 8 1/2 inches tall.In addition to being a great wine bucket (and stylish compost bin) I can also see using this as a flower vase. Handy little item to have.

I was looking for an affordable ice bucket for cooling wine and champagne and this is perfect! Sturdy, does its job, and more affordable than similar ice bucket from Ikea, Home goods etc. Best bang for your buck!

This wine bucket was perfect for my outing with my boyfriend. It can hold two bottles of wine or one bottle of liquor if it's the large bottle. I added ice to keep the wine cold and sat it on a tray with the wine glasses. I sprinkled rose petals on the silver tray too. It dressed up the room very nicely!

You can see metal indents inside of container but outside was nice. Not very heavy or thick but worth the price point. It will work for what I need.

First, it isn't flimsy or top-heavy but also not too heavy/unwieldy. Both needed for a bucket to keep champagne cool when serving at a table. Clean lines, inobtrusive if that's what you're looking for, here is the wine bucket for you! Reasonable price, too. Shipped quickly.

I was tired of looking for something to chill a bottle of champagne for special occasions. This is not insulated but perfect for a nice presentation with roses. And very inexpensive but looks high quality. Highly recommend.
