I enjoy the wind music even without the chime. This chime is pretty and it will feel good too when the weather straightens out and we can sit outside.

Actually third I bought. First is 5 years old and looks great -Pacific Northwest wet and cold weather and still tinks and whatever else a chime does. Chime?

This is a very lovely chime...if that is all you are looking for. It is delicate and so is the sound ... not much to chime about (pun) and reason for only a 4 rating. I am actually getting additional ones as gifts and back up as, again, it is very delicate and there are many strings and attachments which may break and difficult to repair. I placed this one underneath the eave to protect against any rain, harsh sunlight and extreme winds we have during monsoon season in Arizona. Hopefully, it will last quite a while. Recommend if you want a beautiful chime to exhibit or just look at.

Very delicate sound. Best with low wind. Fills in the times when the wind is strong and the big boomers are sounding off.Liked it so much that I had to get my brother one.

they tinckle and chime wonderfully.Only need a slight breeze to tinkle quietly but often which upsets my neighbour, Makes me laugh:-)
