From stem to stern it IS the length stated but over 50% is string & hook length, not chimes.Very light & dainty with fairly nice wood accents with one slight blemish/ nick on the wind catcher for the clanger. The shiny rich cinnamon honey shellac covers it well.The whole set including box weigh about a half dozen Bic Pens. The tubes themselves are just a little wider than a pen or baby pinky finger and one or two millimeters thin lightweight metal.I knew they were small but still thought the tubes would be wider, thicker, & heavier.Light tinkling sounds - shouldn't upset neighbors.- Chimes are are stapled IN, not strung through holes and knotted, like most, so replacing broken cord with with fishing line or any string will be more tedious.- Multiple sellers appear to offer the same exact thing ~ perhaps go with the Lowest Price as these are pretty small . . . but nice enough ââââ

I am extremely happy with this purchase. I love the delicate and calming tone this wind chime gives when the wind blows. I'm not sure what type of wood is used but I love the smell. And the octagon shape that relates to the bagua is a nice touch.

It was not as deep tones as stated. The clapper string broke the day after it was hung up. My husband was able to tie it to make it work

The product make is very cheap. Doesn’t look nice at all. The sound is very shrill and noisy instead of soothing. It doesn’t sound or look good.
