The first of these I got was defective- missing the c-clip that holds vane to shaft. The replacement had signs on the packaging that it was a returned item being resold. This was confirmed as the wire for the tabs had been bent previously, making installation more challenging. I got it together, but it took about 15 minutes to reshape the wire to fit properly. Should have been a 2 minute job. Once assembled, it works as expected. Better than the cheaper knock-off it replaced.
