It has a built in metal end, but, it's not customizable to the window. Just cut it off, not necessary. Use white duct tape inside or whatever color your windows are to make it the most unobtrusive. It's only for a season.Is really great, combine with smaller pieces of insulation for underneath your unit and you are water and bug proofed!!

This is exactly what I needed to fill in the gap between my window fan and the window frame. Easy to use and effective.

Foam, plastic holders, and 2 sided tape in the box with no directions. I used what I could figure out. Waste of time and money.

It was easy to cut to shape around the AC. Though it came with tape it did not need it as it fit nice and snug from the sides of the window frame to the side of the AC and doesn't fall off. Easy to remove and or replace and to put back if need dusting or cleaning. And does keep out the draft which made a huge difference. Will order another for the other AC.

You will need to cut the foam pieces to fit, but they keep falling out of the window. But definitely does help with insulation.

It is smaller than expected and not as sturdy, and the components are quite shabby compared to the price. Only good part is that you can adjust its size but cutting off.

My 20+-year-old window air conditioner side panels had begun cracking due to weather and air was leaking inside my bedroom. I covered the holes with weather sealant tape and then put these foam side panel covers over the original panels and now my air conditioner looks so much better in the window and I have eliminated 98% of the outside draft
