I have been watching underwater search teams recover cars and the families inside. Electrical windows only down 1/3 and then stop working, leaving people inside panicked and car filling up with water slowing. No need to die in a car under water when these are available!This is a must have item in every car or on your person if you travel with others. I was skeptical but it was for not, as this works awesome! Light is better than shown, and works 4 hours continuously or 6 hours on flash.I could not find any review saying how it resets and thought it was a “one and done†usage, but it is actually a mechanism that resets immediately and you can use as many times as you want testing or in the time of need. Very easy to use. So test it! Go ahead! It’s made for tempered glass as is used in cars and one supplied with the purchase - leave in the plastic bag or you will be hunting down small pieces of glass!100% recommend! I don’t write many reviews, but for $10 and it works great? You can’t go wrong.

Got these for my daughter who just started driving. Very easy to use just push till it breaks. Nice compact size makes it easy to carry on your key chain. They seem pretty durable I'm pretty rough on stuff. Can't express how the great price of this simple tool could be so priceless when it comes time to save my kids lives. Also has a rechargeable light. So I would say the functionality of this product is spot on

I have not had to use these, thankfully, but they seem very well built. It comes with a sample piece of glass to test on, and it broke it perfectly.

Stored in sun glass holder,. Works well easy access. Well built. Only negative is the cover for the seat belt cutter is hard to remove. I removed mind to increase speed if it is ever needed.

This is a product that will keep you and your loved ones safe if you ever end up trapped in your vehicle.The first thing i like is that this product is high Vis green so it can be easily spotted in low light situations or underwater. I appreciate that this product came with tempered glass so that my wife and kids had the chance to see how much force was needed to break a window in an emergency and on the other side of the coin how easily it could break a window if you were unable to swing at the glass. Simply press the button up against the glass and with a bit of pressure it would shatter.The seat belt cutter blade is protected by a removable transparent cover that can be detached from your vehicles key ring with relative ease. The flashlight is an added feature that assists you in seeing in the dark and features a strobe function that can be used to signal for help or potentially blind someone that has Ill intentions, buying you time to escape to safety. Lastly, the flashlight is charged using a USB C port. It makes keeping a charged battery a whole lot easier and cheaper than traditional batteries.This is a tool that i recommend everyone have. I've seen people trapped in vehicles that have gone underwater and could not escape as well as people who were in car accidents and could not open their doors as well as car fires from accidents. Turns out you CAN put a price on safety and for what you get it is well worth it!

This little thing is awesome! We've had automotive glass breakers in our cars for years, but I frankly have doubted I would have the strength to actually whack the glass hard enough. Even if I did, would I have enough space for the required swing of the little hammer?Then this arrived. My spouse is an engineer of the mechanical variety, and he loves these devices! They work with an internal spring that focuses the energy into a tiny point that breaks the glass. You just have to press the device onto the glass and the spring does all the work. Well, most of it. It does take some effort to activate the spring, but not too much for my sister. That's saying something as she is a small lady with several physical limitations.How do we know how much effort it takes? The device came with a 2 inch round of safety glass to practice on. Sadly, the glass was shattered into a thousand pieces, but we left it in the plastic baggie to contain the bits.The flashlight and the seatbelt cutter will be very helpful, too. Overall very, very pleased.

I bought two sets of these and they seem to be of good quality, in terms of they performed well using the test glass provided. However, the removable plastic protective covering that surrounds the blade is very difficult to remove. I managed to remove three of the four. The directions state to pull the string which is attached to a ring, but the string broke, thus the plastic cover cannot be removed. I’m returning the one set and requesting a replacement.
