Just love this product. It keeps the individual room cool which helps to keep the electric bill lower.I would recommend this product to everyone that needs a cool room. Make sure to add water so that the motor doesn't burn out. I got that advice from someone who had previously purchased it, And I'm just passing it on. It has never happened to me. If I were to add something to this product, I would just add a timer… If it had a shut off timer, it would deserve an extra star.

The Dial 3-Speed Portable Evaporative Cooler is decent for cooling smaller spaces up to 500 sqft. The 1300 CFM airflow is adequate, and the three-speed settings offer some flexibility. However, I found it to be a bit noisy at higher speeds, which can be distracting. Additionally, the cooling performance is just average, especially on really hot days. It's a good option if you need a portable cooler, but don't expect it to replace an air conditioner.

I realized the Mfr when i opened...Dial of Phoenix,AZ....This is made as heavy duty as possible and still call it a "interior" cooler....annual flushing with CLR, should last 5 years...pump and fan are better quality than the usual junk....BUT!....IT IS BIG!...I live hot az/ca desert, just what i needed!...ps, includes adapter for male end of garden hose...

Just the right size and power level for my needs. It goes through about 4 gallons of water a day for me so far. But I can’t give it a perfect 5 because the writing on the controls is rubbing off already.

First, this product does not cool; not even 1 degree difference. I monitored this; and it's not just a feeling. Then, the seller requires the buyer to pay the return shipping cost; which is over $100. Almost the cost of the item. They may advertise returns and guarantees, but the buyer has to incur the costs for them to honor their policy. I wish Amazon would not let these types of sellers to use their site. Amazon users are accustom to no cost returns, and I've had sellers send me return shipping labels to honor a return or warranty policy. Poor product and even poorer customer service, if that's possible.
