i have 4 large living room windows. i wanted privacy film so i could look out without others looking in. this works. i ordered the blue because it provided the most "brightness" to the room vs other colors and i wanted that light for my plants. the blue has an exterior "mirror" finish to it which i love. it's easy to put up and you're provided (with the roll) with a small spray bottle, a small squeegie, and a microfiber cloth. i sprayed lots of water on the window (after cleaning it) and cut the film before installing (after measuring) the film. i left an excess of about 1/2 inch to the totals and then had a box cutter knife ready to trim off any excess. once up, the squeegie is used to get out any air bubbles (easy to do) and then using your cloth to wipe away the water (the air bubbles are filled with water). done! i have even gone back 2-3 days later to ensure no more bubbles and if so, just simply smooth them out. i love the blue hue and the brightness i still get into the room (but not like natural sunlight), and really like the way they look from the outside. didn't take me long to do my 48 inch long x 15 inch wide four windows and well worth the effort. i used 1 roll for each window with enough excess left over to do smaller windows in future if i'd like.

I ordered this and was not let down. Needed more ordered elsewhere n it was not anywhere near as good as this. Easy to install, visibility is great, the product proformed exactly as intended. I'm only ordering from here now as it preformes that good. Didn't block too much light either.

I found this a lot easier to manage when I did not follow the instructions. I probably tried 3 times with the instructions, and it looked horrible, so I gave up and tried what I wanted. 1-don’t cut it too big then try to trim it down on the glass. The film isn’t easy to cut, but the frame around your glass is very easy to cut. 😒 Cut it as close to the exact size as possible, then push any tiny bits into the frame holding the glass. 2- don’t wet the glass, and don’t soak the film like it says. I just lightly sprayed the film with tap water. More water just made me worried I was ruining my cabinets with all the water running into the ledge holding the glass, and it didn’t change how well it stuck. I did a dry run to check my fit, then sprayed lightly with water and smoothed it with my hand. I did use the soft end of the tool to smooth out bubbles. When there was an area I couldn’t smooth out the tiny bubble or squiggles, I would pull up the film as little as possible just to undo that area, then use the tool to smooth it as I put it back. Also, if it just will not look nice and you’ve tried a couple times with that piece of film, cut a new piece of film and start over. It seemed like too much handling makes it more difficult to smooth out. Also, the smooth side of the film goes against the glass.

I find this better than blackout curtains... With this completely covering your windows you wouldn't need curtains... I leave a slit on the side if one of my windows so I can peek out- and I have curtains on top anyway... light comes through the slit and is visible through the blackout curtains but no light comes through where I have these placed. Easy to install... I've had them on for months with no falling off or issues

I will say, the reflective aspect was wonderful and gave full privacy. . .However, it's SOO difficult to apply. You can work hard to get exact measurements but still almost impossible to get them to fit perfectly, as the material doesn't stick well at all (even with following directions). If even a tiny corner is too big, it will bubble and start to peel itself right off the glass. The film is plastic, very similar to a plastic phone screen protector (but slightly thicker). Directions say to spray with soap and water but this left streaks. If application issues weren't so severe, I'd give this product 5+ stars :(

I wish I would have found this years ago. my daughters room gets afternoon sun and her room would easily be 10-15 degrees warmer. Since putting this is in her window it’s cooled off her room by at least 10 degrees! Putting it on without any imperfections is next to impossible in my opinion but totally worth it.

Overall good. Reflects enough if you are far away you can see inside, but if you get up close to the window you can see in.
