Lightweight and sturdy enough to apply some pressure to dirty windshields and house windows. Not as sturdy as those found at gas stations and probably not meant for the same level of day in and day out usage. Worked well when cleaning bugs off the cars. Haven’t tried it on the house but can’t foresee any issues when I do.

So far, a few weeks in, I think these work really well to get swipe water off my fiberglass showers and glass doors. As for the hooks, pry off the hard plastic ("a fleurette"?)+metal hook assembly from the useless adhesive part, cut a circle to fit out of "permanent" (i.e. strong) 2-sided foam tape and use that. I'm not taking any stars off for the hook's adhesive "patch" because I cared more about how well the squeegee worked & I just assumed -rightly - that they wouldn't stick. So, for me, a round-up to 5 stars for meeting my expectations. If you absolutely need a working hook out of the box, though, fuggetaboudit.Update a few weeks later. The "hinge-ey" bent ends of the metal hooks that are held behind the plastic have begun to rust and leave a brown stain where they're inserted. So, still love the squeegies, but the hooks are destined for the bin. Figure out something else to hang them on if that's how you're going to store them.

It does squeegee tile and glass as expected. Leaves streaks from the very start of stroke and this may be due to some soap/residue that was left on from last wipes. I may try to do a cleaning wipe of the blade after Ive used it. Only noticeable on glass. Handle rubbers became loose and eventually came of ... 6-7 months
