After reading other reviews I was leaning toward buying one of the more expensive tools. But I bought this one figuring that I wouldn’t be out much if it didn’t end up working well. This morning I used it to cut the windshield and rear window out of my ‘68 El Camino. It worked just fine and was easy to use. I’m glad I didn’t spent 3X more for a “better†tool.

Tool itself feels and looks well made.Solid knurled handle, sharp blade and secondary wired handle seems to be well placed. There are no instructions or pointers whatsoever so for someone who does not have any experience using this kind of remover it will be tricky. I tried to remove a windshield at a junkyard and cracked 3 of them. Slightest touch of blade or wrong angle and the glass is gone.Definitely not the issue with the tool but some.pointers would be appreciated. I'm sure there is a trick to it

Busted the rear glass on my 2015 Ram 3500. On these trucks you can do a panel but it looks better if you replace the entire thing JMHO. This cut clean and true which made fitting, the new window very easy. Seems to be a well made tool. Blades are replaceable. Was worth the money in time saved alone .Worked for me, your results may vary.

First time using it the blade folded back onto itself. Don't waste your money.

My husband is always working on his project car and had to replace the seal on a leaking windshield. He was worried about damaging the original glass in a 1968 vehicle. We found this tool to be extremely helpful in removing the windshield. The tip easily loosened the glass, and we were able to pull it without any damage. The handle with a flexible cable allows you to pull in whatever section you are working on. It was a great purchase for us.
