I recently bought an older SUV and the washer fluid pump wasn’t working. A friend of mine has a commercial fleet service and repair shop. I was talking to him and he offered to let me change it at his shop and give me the part at his cost. He looked up the part from his distributor and it was $34. I showed him the listing for this pump and he was amazed at the price! I ordered this one, had it the next day and put it in the day after that. I will say, it was not an easy install. I had to put the car on the lift and takeoff the front tires. Then remove the lining of the wheel wells and the entire front bumper and grill to get to the fluid reservoir to change the pump. Luckily I had my friends lift and tools so it was doable, but took a few hours to get it done. If I had been working on it at home in my driveway, it would’ve been a lot worse.

This was a dream, easy to get out, replacement with minimal spillage of fluid in tank. Works like a champ, getting hoses chamged cuased a little fluid tro spill (if worried of spilling too muvh, or not in favor of letting any fluid spill, recommend to empty tank into gallon jug or pail untl unit is switched). Much less trrouble than taing to a shop and paying $50-$100 USD to have it changed out.

This product lasted exactly 15 months, installed on a vehicle not driven very often,remember this product is used from time to time, you don't spray your windshield everyday, anyways , product stopped working suddenly, burnt 2 fuses untill I realized pump was getting power but not turning, pump motor stuck.The original part I replaced had lasted 18 years.Try another brand, a year and some months is too little use for a piece of equipment seldom used.
