The reservoir was leaking and the origin of the leak was unclear. After much thought, research, and process of elimination I decided to change the washer pump. Bingo! That did the trick. I was concerned about which to purchase as there was many choices. I changed it about 6 months ago if not longer. I waited to do the review. This one has been working very well. You will be happy.

2005 Mazda Tribute. Outlet is slightly larger but you can force the rubber tube over the barb. Should be 1/8th, is 3/16ths. Also, don't replace the grommet unless yours is leaking. Original (and others I've seen since changing this one) have a screen to keep minor debris out of the pump. The one that comes with this unit has no screen

Pretty straightforward repair. Worked great for my 2005 Ford Escape. I just creased the old grommet instead of the one that comes with this part, and I’ve had no issues with leaks.

This part fits my 2001 ranger but I didn’t work right out of the box. I tested the connector with a multimeter and it was getting 12.4 volts but the pump did not work. Bought a different pump from a local parts store and it worked fine. Don’t recommend this product.
