Love this. The wine flows through easily. Pop it in the dishwasher. This is my second one. Dropped the old one that I had for a few years on concrete and it broke. I tried another kind and the wine took forever to come out of the bottle. Highly recommend this item.

This item produced a lot of bubbles when the wine is poured. I liked it. However, as a novice with red wine, I honestly say that I did not notice any difference in the taste of the wine. Nevertheless, the item works very well and introduced a lot of bubbles, although short lived, in the wine.

I have been using aerators on wine to enhance the flavor and aromas of wines for many years. This aerating pourer has a great feature that I really, really like - it stays on the bottle between pours so you don’t have to worry about setting down the aerator on its stand to avoid drips or being extra careful that the aerator does not drip on the table while moving it to a custom stand. When the bottle is finished just pop it onto the next and continue to pour or at the end of the meal just rinse it under the tap with flowing water. I have had many remarks from friends that it is quite elegant and the visual appeal is definitely there. Simple, easy, effective and convenient to use.

Wine aerators allow air to mix with the wine as it pours, helping to release the wine's aromas and enhance the flavor. But this type of product has hardly any surface area and thus, a more limited capacity for aeration. The narrow opening restricts flow and doesn't provide as much opportunity for the wine to come into contact with oxygen. I honestly do not know if something like this is all gimmick. I like the pour spout allowing a more directed pour than just sloshing wine out of the bottle. It's definitely good for that, fits the bottleneck tight enough there wasn't any overflow or spillage. So the product, while cheap, isn't a bad performer. And the look of the wine flowing through the spout adds to the experience. The aeration has to be minimal, but I'm not a wine person. I am just someone who doesn't have room for a decanter and thought this was better than nothing because I don't drink a lot of tannic wines anyway. This is probably fine for merlots and malbecs but it's not going to be heavy duty but also, who would expect this to be? It's a vibe.

wanted something small that could help open up some of the chewier reds that i have. I didn't want to find storage for a big pitcher-style decanter, but this one fits in my drawer. Super convenient and easy. Just rinse it out immediately after use and it does a great job.
