Players roll seven dice and spell words with the letters they’ve rolled. Follow the score sheet and fill in the scoring blocks, just like in regular Yahtzee. Create words of different lengths, multiple words, roll “All Vowels” and more. Use all seven letter dice to spell a sweet, seven letter word and you’ll score a Yahtzee!

It's a combination of scrabble and yahtzee. I would say 8 yrs old and up should be able to play. I thought it would be hard, but it was really easy to learn. Everything is the same size as a yahtzee game. My husband and I are very competitive, and this is a high quality game, that involves strategic thinking and was a great value for the money I spent, bringing us hours of fun.

I got Yahtzee Words for my husband for Christmas. We have always loved playing both Yahtzee & Scrabble — this is the perfect combination of both! It is easy to learn & one round takes about 15-20 minutes for the two of us.The one bad thing is the tin cup shaker — who on earth thought anyone would want to listen to that racket!! We took one of our grandson’s plastic cups to use instead.

This was a fun and unique spin on a traditional yhatzee. It took a little time to adjust to the letters and not numbers but it was fun. Its certainly more of a thinking game vs a quick fun game. my kids and I always do a whole page of regular yhatzee in no time but this takes a little more thought! But will definitely be in rotation for game nights!

I swear opening the box made me sick from the off gassing— to the point I removed all the game contents and put then in a big ziplock bag for now so that I wont have to open that box.Also, it’s a huge box for no reason. All you get is a skinny pad of some score sheets, a tin cup with the game name but its low quality, 7 letter dice, and the instructions.If you’re looking to play this game, all your actually paying for are the special dice since you can download the play sheets and instructions online for free from the company so when you consider the only thing you NEED is the 7 dice, it makes the huge waste of packaging with off gas just kinda not cool?As for the game: its Yahtzee but 12 rounds instead of 13 and you are trying to make specific your 3 rolls fit into one of the word based sections on your sheet. However, having a dictionary handy is very helpful!

I bought this to play in person with my sister when we get together quarterly. We play scrabble online every week so I thought this would be something fun. It was great. We played it over and over again. The fun part is we help each other find words. Highly recommend to people who like scrabble and yahtzee.

We love to play board games and have played Yahtzee, but this is a whole new take on that game. It comes with 7 dice letters, a shaker cup and score sheets.

I think it's a bit harder to play and win than original Yahtzee (coming from someone who loves word games) but it is still very fun also!
