Right out of the box I love that the tables are pre-assembled! Ready to go! The tables are sturdy and stable for their primary intended purpose (as a tv food tray). I also love the oversized table top. It provides more than enough room to place a large meal! The painted surface is a nice dark espresso color and is exactly as pictured in the description! I purchased also a large silicone placemat to protect the table surface. I am "EXTREMELY" satisfied with this purchase!!!

I bought these TV tray tables almost 8 years ago and they still look great and work as well as the day we got them. They are sturdy and very easy to clean. How is that for a testimonial? lol

Like the color choices and the stand is sturdy. I'd like them better if there was a hand cut-out for ease of carrying and taking the tray down after use.

I read the reviews on this product and the biggest problem people had was that the tray's legs would fold up when picking up the tray. It is true, but I found an easy, inexpensive, quick fix. If you look at the photos I provided, you will see I used some rubber weather seal. Cut 2 pieces, one smaller than the other, and stick them together. Open your tray, turn it upside down, and stick the double weather strip close to the slide bar (see photo). For easier opening and closing, make the top strip about a finger wide in length. The instructions were easy. I am a visual person; so the picture instructions was great for me. There was some written instructions. Tools to put it together was included. Don't put in the wooden plugs until you are sure it is put together right. I accidentally put a piece in the wrong place due to not referring to the instructions, and I was able to fix it easily and quickly. I used a hammer and the soft packing sheet that came with the trays to put in the wooden plugs. I put the packing sheet over the wooden plugs and tapped the plugs into place. I couldn't just push the plugs in, and used the packing sheet to keep the hammer from scratching the plugs. Also, a tip for those with no experience putting anything together, putting screws and wooden plugs in a small container to keep them from getting lost while putting it together is recommended. I love the way these trays look. They are sturdy, and in good quality. They exceeded my expectations. There was, however, one small scratch. I had a hard time getting the pieces out of the box, so it could have happened at that time, but I found a quick fix for this too. See photos.

The color and style is wonderful. Very steady and good height. Only problem there was a small crack in the wood, under the table, where a small screw had been used and caused the wood to crack. Able to reinforce but should not have had to. This was only on one tray; the remainder were fine. Just make sure you look close at all the pieces. You only have to put together the stand.

We really love these tables. It's a great product for the price. As other reviewers have said, they're not the sturdiest tables ever, but it's not like they're going to topple over by putting your plate on them. I simply wouldn't sit or lean on them, which isn't what they're for anyway.The finish looks really good. All of the tables folded and on the very convenient stand actually take up very little room. The stand is the only thing you have to put together. It's very solid and it didn't take too long to assemble. Very happy with this purchase.

I've bought a few other TV trays and have always been disappointed lately. Poor quality and they don't even open and close properly. Not so with these! Nice finish, perfect size and very easy to open/close. They come already assembled but the holder needs putting together which went very easily. I would highly recommend these if you're looking for some decent trays that look like actual furniture!
