This remote would not work with a popular program used to digitize old photos. The function to zoom in/out, instead raised and lowered the system volume(?) which is not a function I would use for my intended purpose. I just returned it.

I'm using Android but took a chance on this Voinap brand camera remote. I'm happy I did, but there are a few issues. The wireless remote easily connected to my MOTO phone. I am able to remotely snap a photo. There is a slight delay, which is a little annoying. Most of the other features don't seem to work, although, I didn't investigate very much. I didn't need this for any other reason than snapping photos, so for me, this works just fine.

This remote works perfectly with my iPhone Pro Max 13. It was very easy to set up. However, the instructions were printed in a very small print size, and I could not find a larger version on their website. I almost gave up. If you can deal with this inconvenience, this it is a nice remote.

Connected it per instructions. Does not zoom in or out. but does start stop video.

I ordered this "wireless camera remote control" to use as a remote camera shutter button when I'm taking selfies or when I have the phone mounted on a tripod. I'm using a Google Pixel Android phone and am using the standard Google Pixel camera app. I am able to get the shutter button and zoom buttons to work. The button to switch between the front and rear cameras does not work. For document reading, I could get it to flip forward one page at a time in the Kindle app, but not backwards. I could not get it to work at all for flipping pages in any PDF reader apps.If you only need a 1-button remote camera shutter control, Amazon sells several that work well with Android for much lower prices than this device.

I'm really glad I got this Wireless Camera Remote Control from Voinap as it has helped out a lot when taking large group pictures. It paired easily to my iPhone and the remote is small and fits nicely in the palm of my hand. The control buttons are very easy to navigate and I love how you're able to zoom in and out via the remote - game changer - as most remotes only snap a picture or start/stop your video. The added bonus is you can use this remote to scroll while online which is also great. All movement with the remote is smooth and I didn't feel there was any latency. Great remote and the price point is excellent.
