I purchased this to hopefully encourage my dog to drink a little more water, not because it's filtered, but because they might find the movement attractive. I'm not sure how that part will work but...It was easy to set up and the instructions were clear. We currently have it plugged in as their water bowl has always been located near enough to a plug. I do like that it can run on battery though.It is truly silent when it runs. That was one of our biggest concerns, but you cannot hear it which is great. We have it on the timer to run every 15 minutes rather than running continuously.It holds quite a bit of water and will hopefully keep us from having to empty, clean out and replace their water daily since it has the filter. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

I have bought other dog fountains and got tired of them not lasting long. I came across this one and I am super happy. It is like a translucent black, it hat a dim blue light, it's wireless but comes with a C charging cable. It has a sensor where it will start the fountain when the dog/s come to drink but also if someone walks by it and it turns the fountain on, but it can be adjusted by pressing the button to keep the fountain on all the time, or turn on every 20 minutes you can use it wireless or keep connected to the electrical power. I have a jack Russell Chihuahua between small and medium in size and 2 duchsand terrier pits which are medium in size. This fountain comes with 2 filters whick you have to replace about every 2 months according to the booklet attached.. It's just awesome. My dogs drink more water because the fountain attracts them to the water. Also my dogs don't have to bend their neck lock to drink from a bowl. It's right at their level but for a bigger dog I'm not sure but it's to big for a small dog I highly recommend it. Its also a quiet fountain. Easy to clean. Takes capacity 1.5 gallons and what i do is add ice to keep the water cold because thats how my dogs like it, fresh cold water. Easy to assemble, easy instructions booklet. I give it a 5 star ☆☆☆☆☆, price 💰 is reasonable

My 75lb Corso/Rot/Mastiff drinks a lot of water! I wanted a moderately-large sized water fountain, that also would keep her water from getting dirty so fast. She is a messy eater, so it's a tall order to keep her water clean...but this seems to help. She was surprisingly scared to drink from the bowl for the first day or so, but with a little patience, she took to it fine. I do like that I can easily rinse out the two filters, and yucky stuff doesn't seem to get back into the reservoir, but a lot of the crumbs do settle in the top bowl, never making it into the filter area. It is a little bit time consuming to clean, as you have to disassemble everything and remember exactly how it goes back together, but that is going to be required with most any fountain/filter bowl. We have hard water, so the black shiny top part can get some white residue relatively quickly. Really happy with it so far

I have outlets with a USB port so I leave it plugged in. easy to pickup and wipe clean no electric wire to deal with. putting it back to gather is the easiest I have ever had, the pump easily lines up to the top, easy to see the water level. I have 3 cats and a dog and all prefer this fountain. I'll get another one soon and toss the reset.

We bought this 6 months ago. Our dogs loved it. I cleaned and changed the filters every 2 weeks and all of the sudden it stopped working. We took it apart super cleaned it and nothing. 6 months after purchase no support not available for return.
