The remote control responds quickly, there is no lag or delay when turning the page, and the whole reading process is very smooth.It is very simple to turn on, just short press the clip button and the blue light would flashes. Also short press the remote control button. The blue light on the clip remains on for about 3 sec, which indicates successful paired. The pairing process is silent, so if you like to read late at night, it will not affect others. The clip can be easily clipped on the iPad and fixed firmly without slipping. The remote control is small and light, and can be used at any time, especially in winter, when you can easily turn the page without touching the screen. In terms of power, it can be fully charged quickly in 1 hour, and the power consumption is very small. The battery has an indicator light, so there is no need to worry about power problems. People who like to read with electronic devices can really try it. The experience is very good!

So, my tablet didn't work with this but I did have someone a friend of my kiddos who let me borrow a newer model and it worked like a dream. I'm now saving up to upgrade my tablet or eReader don't care which honestly so I can use it. It was so nice not to have to worry about my thumbs. I have issues with my hands. There was a little lag for me bit I read really fast so I didn't count it against the remote since it was probably my fault.My only issue was it doesn't work for the later models and I did have to remove the case for the version I got. I did see they make ones to be used with a case so thats something to consider.
