I mounted this on the ceiling, about three feet from my 24"x30" picture. it throws off a very nice distribution of light. it is not a spotlight, nor does it flood the area of unwanted light outside of the picture - it evenly distributes the light over my picture. I have a second lite for a 35"x50" poster, where the light is 6 feet away. When illuminated, the area outside the picture has a very nice, gentle washout of light. the color temp is perfect, warm like an incandescent bulb but without changing the color of the picture at all. the designer seriously tested out and found the spot-on color temp. I tested the longevity of the battery by leaving the light on 13 hours straight at 40% power (which is definitely enough light for a picture) but this also included me playing around at 100% for at least 30 minutes and other levels of brightness. there was no change in the power. I turned it off then returned 8 hours later, turned it on again at 40% and left on for an additional five hours, at which time I noticed a drain of the power, in fact when I boosted to 100% it was similar to the 40% power level I was using. the remote works well for distance, better than any other light remote I previously had - at least 8-10 feet with no issues. One remote works for two lights, actually affecting both at the same time. Also, the lowest level, 10% is great for nighttime illumination when no other lites are on in the room. 100% is just too bright and can imagine is only good for daylight use, if you so wish. The only drawback is it takes a very long time to recharge this battery. I believe about 6 hours. This is a GREAT value for the money and comparable to any professional artwork lite.

OMG. it's not often i get WOWed right when taking something out of the box. I was absolutely so impressed by this light and have them both in black and white. It's got a heavy weight to it which is perfect for keeping it on the floor. ALSO the battery is much larger than the competitors and it is BRIGHT.I love the warm lighting - it's perfect and not too orange. I literally scoured the web to see if I could buy it in bulk so I can use them everywhere.Absolutely love that it softly turns on and off AND the timer function is so cool (haven't tried it yet since you have to turn it on at the time you'd like it to be turned on).I bought a competitor brand and while the other one looked good, URTOM was a clear winner. The aluminum body is so nice - it's like Apple could've made it. I was a bit hesitant to buy based on the price ($32) but I'm sold..These days companies online rip off stock images of other companies and everyone is selling the same thing until you get it in your hands and realize it's a POS. Not this one. THe remote is exactly as shown and i love everything about it!

Lights are nice, but won’t hold a charge for more than two hours. Am I doing something?

I’m going to buy two more now for my other artwork. It’s heavy/sturdy and the light works perfectly. I have it charging right now but when it arrived it turned right on. I like the two options for operating; one by touch, the other by remote.

If the battery lasted longer, it would get a 5 stars. But the battery lasts no longer than 8 hours - it is really frustrating that it cannot go more than a day of use before dying. The quality is great and the light looks awesome on a picture, but not thrilled with anything else.

This arrived nicely packaged and well protected. The light is very versatile since it is rechargeable. I'm using it at 40% for 4 hours/day and it lasted 4-5 days before needing recharge. The light is bright but dimmable. The magnetic mounting plate makes it easy to use anywhere and it looks great. The light is adjustable so easy to get the perfect angle on the floor with up lighting or on a wall. The daily timer function is exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that you can't use the light while it is plugged in to charge.

Not sure if I just received a defective one, but fully charged light lasts less than 8 hours, when I come back the next day it barely turns on, very weak light and dies in the first hour of work. I fully charge it, use it 70% and always turned it off when I left for awhile or at the end of the day. Very disappointing.

Really nice light, warm white, white and orange setting. Took a while to arrive but I like it on first impressions. Can’t comment on the battery life as it’s plugged in so I will update once I have more info.

Ce spot répond à mes attentes mais la pile était probablement périmée !!!Après avoir acheté sur Amazon d’ailleurs une nouvelle pile, le spot fonctionne très bien mais je trouve que ce n’est pas correct.
