My work laptop doesn't have a standard number pad, so I ordered this because I do a lot of assessment data entry and the number pad is much more convenient. This combo is super easy to install, and it works right out of the box with absolutely no issues. The USB dongle has convenient storage inside the unit, so I can pack it all up and bring it back and forth between work and home without losing the dongle. There's not much more to say here. I've been using this for more than a month now, and I have not had a single instance of lag or unexplained disconnection. It does what it's supposed to do, and that makes it a great value for me.

This keypad and mouse combo works very well. The USB dongle is cleverly stowed inside the mouse battery compartment. Oddly the number pad uses a single AAA battery whereas the mouse uses a single AA battery. Two different sized batteries?Everything worked perfectly as soon as I plugged the USB dongle into my Windows 10 PC. Both mouse and keypad were recognized and functioned without requiring any driver installation or any software changes. The number pad has rubber feet that keep it in place so it doesn't slide around. The build quality is excellent and it looks very modern. The flat chicklet style keys are very soft to the press, making no sound. I wish there was a small bump on the 5-key to give some tactile feedback that my hand is correctly placed. The mouse also performed well. It is a nice size and feels good in the hand. Cursor motion is smooth. The primary button clicks are a bit soft, but acceptable. The scroll wheel works well and also acts like a middle mouse button when pressed. There are two buttons on the side that are supposed to let you increase or decrease the DPI of the mouse. I clicked them both multiple times and could discern no difference in the cursor movement. So why four stars? Well, there is a NumLock button on the keypad. As expected, when you press it the numeric pad becomes 4 directional arrow keys, a PgUp, PgDn, Home, End, Ins and Del. Press it again and it toggles back to being a numeric keypad. So what's the problem? Most keyboards have a NumLock LED that illuminates when in NumLock mode. This keypad has a single LED with an icon that looks like a battery beside it. According to the manual that LED flashes red when the battery needs replacing. And when in numeric keypad (NumLock) mode, that same LED flashes blue. I suppose when in NumLock mode with a low battery it would alternately flash red and blue? Regardless, why flash the LED rather than keeping it lit like conventional keyboards? Adding a little to the confusion, after 8 minutes without any buttons being pressed, the LED extinguishes. So now when you walk up to the machine you don't know if it's in NumLock mode or arrowkey mode. To some this may be a minor quibble, but the keypad should work just like the numeric keypad on a full size keyboard. Why be different?

This combo set does exactly what it says it will do and works the same way. Ever since getting a laptop I have realized how much I missed having a number pad and with this it has made my work a lot easier and faster. The mouse is smooth and works as to be expected. The price point was good for where I needed it to be. Overall I am really pleased and would recommend.

So great to be able to plug in a numpad when I need it. I don't use it often so this little portable one is perfect for my laptop which doesn't have one. The battery lasts really well and it connects with no problems. I've had no issues with the keys or anything like that and there was no setup really. Just plug in and go.

I work from home and one of the keyboards I use does not have a number pad. I needed to find an external one to use with that keyboard. For some reason or another, I could not get this one to connect to my PC. I don't know if I was doing something wrong, or if the number pad is defective. I did not need a mouse, and I didn't care for this particular mouse either.

I moved to a compact keyboard with mechanical switches to save desk space, yet occasionally, the numeric keypad is indispensable! Fortunately, it included a mouse, eliminating the need for an additional USB port whenever the keypad is necessary.

This is a pretty decent little mouse and slim numpad set that works as expected. However, there are a couple of things I didn't really like about it. The first thing is that the numpad isn't the standard configuration. I didn't realize this when I decided to get it. I'm used to the "+" button being longer and the "-" button being where the backspace key is. The difference in configuration definitely threw me off. The double zero key had some getting used to, but that change was easier to get used to for me. The second issue I have is that the mouse goes to sleep a little too quickly. I constantly have to click the mouse button to wake the mouse up after typing for a little bit.Otherwise, this mouse and numpad set is a decent and practical option for those with a laptop or keyboard lacking in the numpad buttons.

The design of the USB is genius. Out of the way and easy to access. The combo between these two are really helpful, and I love that I can take this basically anywhere due to the size of both items! The keys are not muddy feeling and the mouse, for the price, is very practical. Battery has not run out on either device and I have been using them for over 4 months now!
