I like that this Faraday Bag is RFID Key Fob Protector. This bag has to two pockets, an outer on with no protection and the inner one which has the RFID material to protect your Fob from being detected. I can that the RFID pocket does provide protection. I have gone out to my truck and pulled on the handle and nothing happens. Then I remember that I have my Fob in the Faraday Bag in the RFID pocket. The Bags work. The only area I see as an issue though it's not a major one, is the material of Faraday Bag. I'll see how long it last. But for now these Faraday Bags are worth their weight in gold, to protect use from auto thieves. I recommend you purchase the Faraday Bags for you own protection.

Bought to keep my 2018 RAV4 safe. Tried the key after it was in the bag, and it prevented me from unlocking the car, and also tried it when in the car, and the push button start didn’t work. I carry the bag in my purse if I am shopping for a while, with the key inside, and just remove the key when I am checking out, so I don’t have to struggle with bags to get it out at the car. A very small thing that works in a big way.

Mine didn't work. I was able to unlock my vehicle and start it with the fob inside the bag. Make sure yours function properly.The company contacted me with concerns about my review regarding their product. I learned correct use requires the fob to be within the silver lined pouch within the bag. Obviously i didn't read the use instructions. The quality seemed great and I'm sure if you use the product as required you won't have issues like I did.

Your car key fob sends out a signal (with a unique code associated with your car) about once a second. Organized car thieves have devices that can detect fob signals from about 300 feet away. These scum cruise parking lots and neighborhoods looking for cars that are parked outside. Once they get the code they can program their blank key fob with YOUR car's code and then come back and steal the car in the dead of night! Your car quickly ends up in a shipping container and is usually sent to someplace in Europe (or beyond) for resale.This pouch effectively blocks the signal from your key fob and thwarts code-stealing thieves! I tested it with my car by placing my fob inside the "Faraday pouch" section (there are two compartments) and I couldn't unlock/lock my car doors or start my car. Once removed from the pouch everything worked fine! I won't leave home without it.

This item works perfectly. The top pocket with the silver lining will block transmission of your key fob to the vehicle. I put my key fob inside, try to open my car door and nothing. Pull out the fob, works again. Life saver.I bought this because my key fob was poorly designed (thanks Mazda) with the buttons exposed and protruding from the fob. So when I wore jeans sometimes when I sat down it would press the key fob buttons... What happened? My trunk opened up right in my drive way!!!After I got a bike rack on the hitch. I literally couldn't afford to have it accidentally open again and smash into the hitch. So this item has been an absolute lifesaver.Works every time and I also use the bottom pocket to carry random things. Fits right on my keychain. It's a little big, would love a smaller version with just the one protective pocket. Anyway, if you need to block your key fob signal for any reason. This is the item to get. Perfect!

I actually should have bought more of these. I've learned that cars that don't use a key and have a key fob to start it can be stolen easily. Putting your key fob into these blocks the signal so thieves can't roll by your house and pick up the signal and make their own key fob. They do this and then later on come back to steal your car when they know you're sleeping or something like that. They've been known to steal a car and then put it on a shipping container to another country. These are definitely worth the money to keep your vehicle from being stolen. I'm planning on buying more of them.

Works as advertised, put your key fob in the silver lined pouch and your signal will be blocked. Tested it by walking up to my car, usually it unlocks automatically once I pull the door handle but didn't open while in the pouch. Also tried it in the car to start the car, doesn't work as the car can't locate the key signal. Highly recommend it considering all of the car theft going on. I use it anytime my car will be sitting in one spot for a long time (home, work, at the mall etc.) People complain of inconvenience but it takes a few seconds to put in and out so worth it to protect your car. Also convenient that it came with 2 so that I can put my spare fob in it as well.

The pouch is big enough to hold the key, house key, car keyring and my own small keyring. The little metal d-ring means I can hang it on our key hook.
