Years ago we set out to make an awesome, high quality hammock at an affordable cost. Since our first hammock, we have expanded our product line to include many useful and eye-catching products under the Wise Owl brand.
We believe that spending time in the outdoors enhances people lives, whether it’s a grueling backpacking trip, a short weekend hike or an extended family campout. The gear that you take with you and use, can make all the difference whether or not your trip is enjoyable. Make no mistake; our products our very well made and are of the same quality as some of those much higher cost brands.
Located just outside of Nashville, Tennessee we spend as much time as we can outside with our family and friends. We are always working to offer quality and affordability and to improve in any way possible. We personally test each and every product we offer, and wouldn’t sell anything that we ourselves wouldn’t use personally. Building a great brand is not a sprint, it’s a marathon.

These straps are super easy to use and hold incredibly well. Strapped a hammock between an old electrical pole in our yard and a 13 year old apple tree. My hammock is super light weight but big enough for two people. My partner and I lay in the hammock for a lazy afternoon and the straps didn't budge. In this day of making crap just to sell it, it is a relief to see that some people still think quality is important. Bravo!

I purchased this product to hang a hammock from some trees in my backyard. The product seems solidly constructed with good stitching. It is easy to set up and has plenty of loops to fit a wide range of distances between trees or hammock lengths. One thing to keep in mind is that this product basically works on friction. The weight of the person in the hammock and the coarseness of the tree is what primarily keeps it in its place. We have used it several times now and when a person first sits on the hammock there's a slight slip and then the straps settle in and don't really move anymore, but some people may find this a bit unsettling. My only disappointment with this product was that the carabiners weren't wide enough to accommodate my hammock. I don't have a Wise Owl hammock and the hanging loop ends in my hammock are 0.75" which were too large for the provided carabiner so I had to buy extra wide carabiners for that purpose. On the customer service side, I did receive two different emails from the company making sure that I was happy with my purchase, which shows that the company is very proud of their product and want to make sure customers are happy. Overall, after only a couple of weeks of use, I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it.

I got these for my hammock setup after my husband suggested them and they work wonderfully. They are super easy to use and I think they’ll hold up for quite a long time.

My dad, a Master Chief in the USCG, made me a hammock for outside. He passed in ‘03 and it has been gathering dust for years because of where to hang it. This solves that problem - all you need are a couple of trees and the straps adjust for the right fit. Portable, well made and strong.

Great value. They work perfectly. Slightly heavier than eno but these are my go to. While backpacking I run the eno for the weight. But these go with us everywhere, the whole family loves relaxing in hammocks. Buy now. And it's an American company out of Nashville Tnn. Buy 2 or 3 sets.

A bit disappointed - I have a new ultralight hammock - and these straps are pretty much as heavy as my hammock. They are not bad straps, I used them once and they performed well, but way too heavy for backpacking and carrying around. If you've got a hammock in your garden, these should, however, be fit for purpose.
