I have gone through three red trash cans in ten years at my electrolysis office and this is the best one. I expect this can to last many years and I would absolutely buy it again.

This is a quality metal bin, and the red finish looks just as good as in the photo. I'm docking a star for two reasons: - It should really have rubber feet on the bottom — when empty on a smooth floor, it can slide around as you push the foot pedal. Plus, that way neither the floor, nor the paint will get scratched as the bin gets used. - Its closing action could be quieter. If you withdraw your foot with care, it does not slam, but otherwise, you get a satisfying thunk.

I ordered two of these, the lid was almost off of one when it was received. The other one was okay.
