Probably the best all synthetic media quality product began buying them after watching YouTube vids of people cutting filters open. Wix is top of the line construction and I'd never go back to cheap flimsy made from cardbaord filters that may or may not fall apart and destroy an engine. But hey, that's just me.

I have been using Wix XP filters for more than 10 years on our Honda CRV. They are well made and from everything that I have read, they provide superior oil filtration--better than some OEM filters. I normally purchase them from my local auto parts store. There prices have been going up over the past several years, but I like to support them. This time around, they wanted $16 for the same filter that a few years ago was $7. I felt that was too high, so I checked to see if Amazon sold the filter I needed. They do and at less than $10--delivered to my door. Even less with subscribe and save. I know that the local store has the overhead of a physical store, but give me a break. I will continue to purchase the Hyundai filters from the local dealer, as they are not raising the prices like crazy.

no issues using this and the honda oil filter removal tool works just fine. i wish amazon would ship in a box vs. a packet. luckily no bents or cracks though the packet was tossed or crushed enough to break parts of the box containing the filter.

This was bigger than the K&N filter I was using. It looks well built. This will be my new filter for my 2017 accord

I purchase nothing but Wix oil filters because I used to work at the factory where they were made. I know what goes into these filters. No other competitor comes close to the quality of these filters. Highly recommended.

Guys, it's a Wix filter for the price of a fram extra guard. Inexpensive peace of mind. Ads value to you used car! (Ok I might be exaggerating a little but I get a bit weary when I see the dreaded orange and black cylinder of death under the hood when shopping for a used car, and you should too.)
