Very nice product. You may want to take aa little rtv to hold the gasket in place for re-install. Your gonna need about 7 quarts for refill on a tj auto transmission with the filter replacement.

I used this kit on 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport 3.7 with a 42 RLE transmission. I flattened the gasket before use and it is been two weeks and no sign of leaks (can't really fathom all the negative comments here about the gasket - seems to be a good quality rubber item). I tightened to 14.5 ft.-lbs.

Was dreading replacing the filter on my JK transmission, but it's really important. Pretty sure the original was still in place after 140k miles. Takes a while and can be messy, but the process isn't too bad if you have the right tools and watch some youtube videos. You do not need to remove the exhaust. Use a 1/4" drive socket with a swivel joint to access the front bolts on the pan. Takes a few minutes, but much easier than removing the exhaust. Just make sure you have a BIG drain pan ready lol. Also a good time to replace your drain pan with one that has a drain plug in it. If you do, don't forget to take the magnet out of the old pan.

I purchased this transmission gasket because apparently Chrysler/Dodge didn't offer one for my Dodge vehicle? The WIX fit perfectly and this kit cost less than the factory filter BY ITSELF by almost $40 !!! So far excellent quality and good seal.
