This is quality filter for a great price. If you haven't changed your filter within the recommended interval, do yourself a favor and change it. I know it works. My fuel gauge was a little slow to respond. After you pump the gas it would take a few minutes for the fuel gauge to creep up and show the the correct fuel level. Once I swapped the filter, I took the old filter and opened it (a metal screwdriver and a hammer and a few hard blows - I was going to throw it away anyway). Surely enough the filter was clogged with all the impurities. The whole filter material was so covered with black goo, that I was surprised how it pumped fuel through it. And I always used Premium gas.Remember to get the fuel filter lock removal tool to make your work easier. And be a little patient with the removal to make sure you don't break the fuel line and end up with more problem than when you started.

I used on my LS 6.0 in my 86 Square body C-10I bought to replace a Summit regulator/filter which was totally junk fuel pressure was 72 psi. My mistake. Wix is what I use in all my shop trucks, so I ordered it. Fuel pressure was spot on 58 psi. First test held at rest for 15 minutes, then never held afterwards. It’s currently in use as the pressure maintains. The original one from 4 years ago was a AC Delco. Worked great. I will change the wix out in the spring. Mike from Michigan….

Bought to replace cheap brand that did not work, regulated at 80psi. This one regulated at exactly 58psi as it is supposed to.

I tried 2 other noname brands that claimed to regulate at 60psi but failed with 70psi or sporadic. This Wix fuel filter consistantly regulates at 60psi. Purchased thru Amazon.com for best price and shipping. In a wix box... im no expert but it looks and performs as described. Jeep happy
