This filter works perfectly if like me you have an addiction to rusty old GMT400s from marketplace. With the hose barbs its often easier to cut out the stock screw on filter, as a bonus it fits in the factory fuel pump holder

Does exactly what you'd want out of a steel bodied fuel filter. No issues yet installed on a 1982 Corvette with a crate 350.

So much like the reviewer bouncy cowboy I took have a Chevy truck with very rusty fuel and return lines. Unlike cowboy bouncer my truck is a 99 suburban with the 7.4 L29 SFI engine.I replaced big section of both lines using rubber fuel lines. ( Be sure to use lines with working and bursting pressure that are compatible with fuel injection) the supply line is 3/8 inside diameter the return line is 5/16. I could have hacked up some 3/8 metal lines to make stock threaded fuel line into an improvised inline filter but with this inline 10 micron filter with 3/8 hose barbs I used this. As an extra bonus it fits the factory filter mount perfectly.I will buy this filter when truck is due for filters in the future

I replaced the rusted metal lines with rubber hoses and used this instead of the screw in type filter. Fits 3/8 rubber hoses and the other fuel line was 5/16

I converted my 65 GTO to fuel injection and needed a fuel filter and this worked great. Of course it is a WIX filter and they are always top quality.

The application of this filter is not listed as universal, however the 3/8 barb ends work great as an inline filter for a efi 58psi setup.

I tried two of these filters, figuring the first may have been counterfeit as it was sold by 'filter sisters' instead of amazon direct (second filter was sold/shipped by amazon so should be legit), but both restrict fuel flow to the point my fuel pressure drops from 58psi at idle/low revs to ~35 at 4500 and drops further from there, on a very mild street v8. Replacing the filter with a straight section of pipe keeps my pressure at 58. I went with a holley sniper inline filter with their bronze filter element and that holds 58psi.

My fault - ordered the wrong size, but quality appears to be very good.
