In my opinion, WIX makes some of the best filters on the market. I purchased this item, and when I received it , it came wrapped in shrink wrap which completely sealed it. Without really looking at it, other than to verify the number (33393) I removed the shrink wrap and began threading it on the difficult to reach filter housing. I noticed it went from loose to super tight all at once, which it should not have done. And there was a gap between it and the bottom of the housing. I unscrewed it and finally noticed it did not have a rubber gasket on top. I managed to remove the gasket from the old filter and got it installed on the new one, and reinstalled it. Fit fine after that. Very disappointed in the quality control. Make sure you check for a gasket on the top when you receive one.
