I have a device that is "always on" when the batteries are in even if not in use. It's annoying that the battery drains and the solution for the past year has been to remove the battery everytime....NOT ANYMORE!I simply cut the positive wire and soldered in this switch and now the battery can stay in without draining. Everything works as it should. Boom!

Have to cut very small hole to mount which is time consuming if you don't have the proper tooling.

These are great little switches. Easy to attach wires to. Small enough to hide in a project.

Just posting a review of the item title. It looks like "5A 50V" which is awsome but it's actually "0. 5A" so that makes these switches 50V @ 0.5A which is a big difference and can only work for very small projects and unfortunately I need upto 5A. Hoping this gets fixed and hope this helps someone else. Other than that I didn't want to open the packaging as I'm returning the switches but they do look nice.

I used these to replace some failed switches in some solar powered post lights around my deck.Easy to solder in and work perfectly and the switches feel much more positive than the originals. Way cheaper that replacing the lights and they feel like they'll last longer than the originals.Very happy.

Arrived 2 days earlier than expected. Well packaged, and in a secure clear plastic box. I have not used any yet but they appear to be working ok.
