Used these to replace locks on a mechanic tool box set. They look just as good as the factory locks that were missing keys. Install was straight forward and easy. They function just like the expensive factory box lock but cost 1/4 the price of buying 1 replacement factory key. Once installed you would never know they weren't original.

Perfect locks for my cabinet door on my postal mail box. The two angle arms worked for two different setups and the locks seem to be good quality and will last a long time securing the door locks they replaced. Plan to buy additional ones for other cabinets that need to be locked. Chrome finish is a plus.

BEWARE, installed this in my tool box at work only to find out it worthless!Once locked, the ONLY way to remove the key is to unlock it!!!REALLY!!!?

Am going to give it a 3 star. Not sure if these locks are universal for all tool boxes or if I measured wrong but it did fit into place, however the latch part wasnt; even long enough to actually hook onto the lid. It was basically a waste of time. My tool box is US General, so if you have that brand too; don't use these locks for replacements.
