Does not split wood well. Gets jammed in the wood and comes apart trying to remove the device.Very aggravating to use, need to use with a corded drill, battery operated drills do not work good, corded drills work better, but still jams occur.

using my 1/4" drive impact driver it blasts thru some green branches I wad chopped up. impact driver reduces the torque felt at the wrist keeping it safe while delivering mor power then a drill. I got this one as it came with a inpact driver compatiable shank.would be nice if it had a set screw as I cross threaded it when I unthreaded it backing it out of a piece of wood.I'll probably locktite it when I replace it. I have not tried it on seasoned firewood but it will blast thru all the wood I have around here.hopful it will split seasoned wood as easily.I'll up date when I get some to try.will also try to upload a video.if you need to split wood and you have an impact driverthis will work.

I had really hoped this would work to turn a few small rounds into more manageable kindling. I tried 3 different drills and despite following all the instructions, not only failed to split the wood, but ended up breaking the tip off of the bit. Save your time and money.

It works as advertised but you need a big drill to split anything bigger than small pieces

Requires 2 handled 1/2" power drill, better if hammer drill. Requires effective means of keeping wood stable. It gets stuck often. Hold on tight or you'll injure something, likely your wrists.

I have not had the occasion to use these yet but the items seem to be very well made. Hopefully this year I can split some firewood.

Does not work with a drill. The video shows a drill. I can split anything in the video that they have. It’s already super dry pine that they’re splitting so it’s useless.

😒. Meines Erachtens ist der Kegel zu kurz. Der Winkel müsste spitzer sein. Selbst meine HILTI TE1 kommt nicht weiter.😧
