52 Letter Cards
There are 52 cards of capital and small letters, which allow kids to spell different words out of them.
Addition
Push all the beads towards the left side.
·Take 2 beads on the first row and push them rightwards.
·Take 4 beads on the 2nd row and push them rightwards.
·Now we have 6 beads.
Subtraction
Push all the beads towards the left side.
·Ask your kid to count 5 beads on the first row and push them rightwards.
·Then ask your to count 3 beads from the 5 and push them leftwards.
·We are left with 2 beads.
Multiplication
Ask your child to arrange 4 beads on 3 different rows and then ask them to count.
Division
Push all the beads towards the left side.
·Slide 8 beads rightwards on the top row.
·The divisor is 2, so keep sliding 2 beads at a time leftwards on the top row.
·Then for each set of 2 beads on the top row, slide 1 bead rightwards on the bottom row.
·In the end, we have 4 beads on the bottom row.

My son was struggling with adding and subtracting simple numbers when he first started learning this really helped him visualize and count and get the correct answer. He is 5 and in kindergarten learning to add and subtract for the first time

This helps and improves my daughter's counting techniques, and her grade went up. The stand is not strong enough because the pin always falls off, that should be improved.

Falls down easily because it has a piece of string holding it together instead of wood. Also, numbers are just paper- very thin- not made to last. Missing addition and subtraction symbols.

Abacus and number cards are smaller than expected but serves it's purpose. However, the product must have been previously used and returned. The counting sticks were dirty and some were sticky. Disappointed, but cleaned sticks rather than return for replacement.

When I saw this listed I just had to order it as it's so rare nowadays to find a good learning toy thats made from natural materials rather than plastic.On opening this is more than just an abacus although the abacus itself is a lovely looking and sturdy item made from wood. Along with the abacus comes several well made items such as counting sticks which can really help a youngster grasp the idea of adding up and deducting before moving on to the abacus.This set also comes with some cards that have numbers and mathematic symbols on them so once they are proficient in using the basics they can be set tasks using the cards to follow.Overall, this is a lovely set that feels very nostalgic from my own youth and I think will last through whilst helping a child grasp the basics of mathematics.Recommended.

He cogido este ábaco para mi hija de 3 años y le ha encantado. Ahora mismo está aprendiendo los números, a sumar y a restar, y la verdad que le está ayudando bastante. El ábaco es de madera con muy buenos acabados, tiene 10 lÃneas de fichas y cada fila tiene 10 fichas con lo que ayudar hacer cuentas hasta 100. Mide algo más de 27 centÃmetros de altura por 21 centÃmetro de ancho. Tambien incluyen 80 tarjetas con números, letras y sÃmbolos que sirven para realizar cuentas y que ellos las resuelvan.Tambien vienen unos 100 palos de distintos colores para hacer también sumas y restas.
