I wasn’t expecting to have to put these together for the price. Cheap wood, but look nice and worked for what I intended. Bottom piece is a thin piece of wood so will not hold anything too heavy. Lining up the screws were not that easy, but overall wasn’t that difficult to put together.

This two pack of wooden crates is nice. Assembly wasn’t difficult for one person and I had both build fairly quickly. It took about 30 minutes for both as the directions weren’t the best. The crates fit together well and are relatively smooth. I would have appreciated a varnish over the stained wood to prevent splinters but so far I haven’t experienced any issues. The crates are a large size and look very nice. While the body of the crate is thick and sturdy, I found the bottom panel to be thin and it made me nervous to put anything heavy inside. I would have appreciated a thicker bottom panel so that I could feel secure putting heavy items in these.

I really like the product as far as looks and functionality. However, the assembly would have gone a lot easier if the screws were either flat head or phillips. The Allen Wrench provided to put in the many screws made my fingers hurt after just two. Very awkward. Fortunately my husband has many tools and had the right drill bits and such to assemble the crates in a much quicker, and easier fashion.

I love the Rustic look of these crates. They are simply Adorable. They can be used for so many things. I use mine for storing kitchen items. You can use them like shelves...like I do...or you can use them to put fruits and veggies in. I love that you can also stack them if you want. They are a really good size. Bigger than a milk crate. You can put quite a lot in them, but the bottom piece of wood isn't real thick. I don't put anything overly heavy in them, but I know it can handle being filled with potatoes :) The assembly was fairly easy, but a third hand would've helped. It's not that it's hard to do, it's just awkward, I guess. The quality of these are fantastic. They do end up being pretty solid, once you put it together. I actually really like the corner cover pieces. It looks great and adds an extra layer of stability to the side panels. These are just absolutely wonderful...and so very cute. I am extremely happy with these. I love everything about them! You can't go wrong with these. They are outstanding!

These look nice and they're a good size. The solid base is convenient. However, the wood is quite soft. They'll be good for most items, but heavy items can dink them up easily. I like them, but I can't give them 5 stars when they're represented as durable and heavy duty and they aren't. They're still good for use though, and I wouldn't mind replacing all my fabric bins with these because they are easier to keep clean.Assembly isn't bad. They include a little hex wrench for putting them together, and it really is all you'll need. Over-tightening the screws will sink them in too far. Each set includes an extra screw. A couple holes didn't line up perfectly, but most did. If you run into trouble, you can try putting all (or a section of) the screws in about halfway, then align the bottom piece before screwing it together the rest of the way. I only had to do this for one corner of one of the boxes.

Once the crates are assembled they are very nice but assembling them leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not completely helpless when it comes to this type of assembling of an item but it took too long to do it. Trying to balance the items so that the screws can be inserted is very difficult until the last side, that was relitively simple but then trying to align the holes was difficult. It was worth the effort but be prepared to spend some time doing it.
