This has minimal assembly, You probably don't even need the instructions. The shelf and the "legs" all feel solid, and while I wouldn't climb on this like a real ladder, I think the quality overall is pretty good.One thing to note is to pay attention to the colors, as "natural" does seem a bit darker than a "bare" wood as other companies might list that as "natural", so check the pictures.That's all I have to say, the shelves all come in one piece too, awesome!

The bookshelf was pretty straightforward to put together. I did notice some inconsistencies in the paint coverage on the shelf pieces. But it’s not super noticeable unless you’re REALLY looking.Put together, the shelf looks great. I like the different sizing of each shelf so you can fit different things on each. The stability of the shelf is so-so, you have to distribute the weight more towards the back of the shelves if you want to be safe of it tipping forward.One notable thing when I first opened the package for the shelf was a VERY strong chemical smell. I had to crack open a window, turn my ceiling fan on for circulation, and turn my air purifier on full blast.

This bookshelf was picked up mostly to store 'cute' things - trinkets and the like. It's surprisingly light, I was able to carry the box up some stairs with ease (as a normal adult man) - less inclined folks may find it heavier. Assembly took less than 30mins and I didn't really need the instructions, it's pretty self explanatory. +1 for including one extra screw. Use your own screwdriver with a hex bit though, the included one is small and may irritate your fingers after assembly. Once assembled it seems like it holds the rated spec weight pretty well.biggest complaint so far is this thing offgases a LOT - it's smelly out of the packaging. Hoping that goes away with time.

I thought at first, this cant be worth that much money~! But the quality more than justifies the price. When its all together this thing is stout~! It dont wobble, not even a little~! The wood is heavy and nice. The instructions are clear and easy to read. Its both functional and durable. I think its a fair price for what you get.
