I had a set of woodless graphite from back in my college days, and I love the way that type of pencil works - but after years of use, they needed to be replaced. These are a GREAT replacement for my old set. The lead is smooth, and they really are terrific for sketching. I like the variety in the pack - it's better than my old see,t which didn't have the 2H or the super soft 4B - and I'm sure I will get a lot of use from these. If you need a set of sketching pencils, these are nice.

They're great. I got these for my daughter because she loves drawing. She said they were perfect. It was definitely worth the money. I recommend it!

The pencils are fine, pretty overpriced, a little scratchy, and they don't smudge very well with my blenders, but the solid graphite is useful and they are nice and dark. The paper included is a joke, it is badly cut, not really suited for graphite art, and I really wish it wouldn't have been included because they are pretty useless and probably padded the price unnecessarily. I think if the pencils had not been scratchy and blended better I would give it more stars, but I just have better pencils for a fraction of the price.

They’re nice wood less graphite pencils. I took off a star because all but one pencil were broken.

These are smooth drawing, smooth feeling woodless pencils which come in a tray. The tray, in the box, can be pulled out as a unit; this keeps the pencils together. I especially like the 6B & 8B; they're extra dark & can be blended using a blender pencil. I do most of my sketching with a 2B & I like the feel of the woodless pencil vs a regular one. Since the entire pencil is graphite, I think they last longer than regular pencils. The pack of drawing cards included with the pencils, is the right size to tuck into your art kit. I've used polymer & kneaded erasers with these, & find I prefer the kneaded erasers. This is a really nice set!

I have many drawing pencils of various types. This set comes with 6 woodless graphite pencils, this means they have a coating on the outside of the pencil to protect the graphite, but these are solid graphite pencils. The hardness ratings seem to be pretty good and close to what I'd expect. the little cards are nice size for small drawings, singular subjects. I gave this to my 10 yr old who is enjoying carrying it around to draw with. I recommend this little set for the price and overall quality of the pencils and paper.

These are high quality graphite pencils. I did not realize they came with blank note cards but they are also a heavy weight card stock. This makes a nice gift for someone that loves art. Highly recommend
