Your cart is empty. Turning bowls and power carving are great ways to relax, but sweeping up chips and breathing clouds of wood dust are not. Use the Table-Top Dust Collector to pick up dust and chips at the source. The huge 12-3/4" tall x 16" wide opening captures nearly all the debris from these operations as well as working great with sanders, miter saws, and radial arm saws. The large opening funnels to a 4" dust collection fitting. 10" deep and made of tough ABS plastic.

The headline is tongue in cheek - but also to the point. I hooked this up to my shop vac with the opening right up against the back of my miter saw. Turned it on and ran a test cut. Nothing. I think a bit of airborne dust went through it. The same amount of debris flew in every direction as these machines do.That was my short lived experience. I'm not saying this is useless; but I'm certain to have it work you will need a Very powerful vacuum source. Mine was a regular 5 gallon Shop Vac, and though it's pretty powerful you have to realize that the suction at the end of the hose is going to dissipate in the gaping mouth of the collector.

had to engineer a bracket for it and "shoe-horn" it in, but it works a lot better than the "nothing" that was there before. solid construction, held screws in the flanges without issue. packaging prevented damage en route. a worthy upgrade to the saw...
