This is wider and i use it for 100 feet of 12 gauge wire, hold it ok but i don't care for the center handle a lot harder to wind up but good for the price but I would not buy again center handle is a poor design

How do I rate the product - it IS NOT as advertised. The reel is plastic, not metal. Described as "snap together" had me half-expecting the product to be plastic, contrary to the listing.From memory, it seems a bit wider than the orange reel I now have. If so, and if it holds additional cable, I'll be happy. There is a "starter cable clip" that holds the first end to start rolling the cable - a feature sorely missing on the orange reel.

When it comes to RV weight of things is important. This is light but made well. I like the handle in the donut hole so you have something to pick it up when it's stored lying down. I plan to use it to store my light weight Zero G hose on. Would be great for storing Christmas lights or exstention cords too. If you want simple and light I recommend this one.

This worked very well for rolling up Christmas lights that didn't come on a roll. I used to use cardboard and decided to invest in these and they're definitely worth it!

Definitely the worst-performing cord reel I've tried. If held by the center handle rolling up a 100' h/d electrical cord is a complete exercise in frustration. Center section refuses to spin smoothly. I purchased mine on sale and even with a 40% discount this product s not worth the money. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one!

Good lightweight inexpensive spool. Stands well, I like having 2 stands around sides. Center handle in hub, handle on edge aren't completely smooth, but work well enough.
