I found this unit to be functional, and works well for home use. Come with enough accessories. Although come with pads, quality of the polishing pads looks bad. You may have to invest on a new set of pads if you are serious and are worries about your car.

I needed a polisher for paint correction on my vehicle. The polisher was easy to setup and I was able to compound and polish an SUV with no problems. Very easy to use and learning curve is minimal. Just watch a few YouTube videos to know how to manage the process and this tool will shine.

I have used this machine only twice. With that, I have used one pad only twice. It fell apart. The pads are nice until they fall apart. Can't believe the pad separated from it backing. Oh well, I was going to get decent pads anyway, but I guess I have to do sooner than later.Buy the machine but throw away the pads and get really nice, decent, pads.

This polisher is a bit of a clone of the gold standard polisher for detailers, but I like it. It's a lot lighter and works just as well.

The dual action has a nice throw for both buffing and polishing. Variable speed help control the whole process. The added buffing pads are a bonus.

My search for a random orbital buffer is now complete. This machine is amazing. I used it to wax a 40' travel trailer that is gel coat with no clear coat that sets outside in Phoenix. Cordless buffers are hopeless for this task. I waxed this unit at the storage lot using a portable 1200 watt generator (also from Amazon). Applied wax with the included smooth sponge applicator on 4'x4' section at a time, removing wax immediately with the included wool pad. Then moved to the next section. Result is truly better than factory shine. I used Maguire's Ultimate Fiberglass wax. The torque is awesome. I waxed on setting 2 1/2, removed wax on 3 1/2 on the 6 scale of the dial. Liked the hold button by the trigger. The use on clear coat auto surface is effortless. I applied wax same way on the entire auto surface & then removed wax with microfiber towels, since clear coat is so much easier to work on than gel coat. I think you will be pleased with this purchase.

Don't get me wrong, this is the main buffer I use to detail my cars. I love that they include extra brushes for the motors and some pads to get you started.What I Like: It seems very durable. It seems to have plenty of power and a long enough cord to make extension cords not always required. Everything seems really quality and the noise level isn't bad at all. This will definitely do the job, without a doubt. The trigger also feels great and has a nice ramp-up effect with a very positive lock feature.What I Don't Like: This is the only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars. This thing is HEAVY. If I just rest the weight of this machine on the hood of a car the pad stop free-spinning and only orbit. Though this is a great safety feature of Orbital Polishers, I am constantly having to hold the pressure off of the paint and it makes the process more tiring on horizontal surfaces. I also wish they offered this with an extra backing plate - such as 5 inches. Though 6" is great for larger surfaces and quick buffing, it is near impossible to use around intricate bumpers and other features like door handle recesses. This is where a 5" backing plate and pad would excel. There's ways to work around this but it's far from efficient and requires relying on the free-spinning action to use the side of the pad (which is basically a rotary at that point).

Saw review recommending this DA polisher. First time polishing my car and very pleased with this polisher and the paint results! Highly recommend.
