These stands are durable, easy to use, and worked great for supporting the cabinets while we screwed them in to the wall. They are sturdy and not to heavy as I don't think you would want something flimsy holding something up you are working under. :-) Worth the money, good value.

I'm using mine to support the middle of a looooooong wood closet shelf with a lot of heavy things on it AND an associated very long closet clothes hanger rod/pipe that was bowing in the middle from the weight. The 3/4" wood shelf is supported on the ends and back against the wall, but with all that length the front had bent down nearly 2 inches over the years with all that weight. I could see that at some point in the future it would dump unless something was done. The closet rod/pipe was bowed about 1 inch in the middle from a huge amount of clothes hanging on it. I put one of these under the shelf and raised it about an inch to start, then left it for a week to allow the bowed wood to adjust and not split on me. This jack held perfectly the whole week. Then I raised the shelf another inch where it still is, nearly level. Wonderful! I know the ultimate solution is a mid-shelf metal brace against the wall into a stud that I would have to find (not easy, tongue and groove board on the wall, stud finders don't work, too deep), but I don't have time for that now! These lifts are the perfect solution until then. Same with the closet rod. I put one of these in the middle and cranked it up until the rod was nearly level. Problems solved!! I bought the shorter version of these too that I plan to use for what they are really designed for, holding up a new bathroom cabinet in place while I screw it down, replacing an old existing one. That job would be hard to do with just 1 person without a lift like this to hold the cabinet in place. Even with two people the cabinet is heavy enough it would be difficult without a lift.

After using these on few jobs I happy with my purchase and found them to be very well made. I was originally going to go with two poles, but I’m glad that I ended up going with the four pole package. They come in very handy when working overhead, especially.

This product PERFORMS WELL, very STURDY and EASY to use... with one exception. The quick release lever is not easy for my arthritic hands to use. In fact, I can't use it at all so this is why I'm not giving the 5th star. I can understand that having a quick release lever so sensitive that it might respond to being accidentally bumped would not be a good thing, and these devices are unlikely to be used by elder folk like me, but still, it would be nice if I could use the quick release feature without pain.

Well worth the money for these solid steel poles with adjustable lengths and fine tuning trigger to push its load up by pulling the triggers. Super price for four of these. Helped me install heavy cabinets on wall….with another person helping also. Highly recommend

I purchased these a month ago and have already used them to hang cabinets and hold boards up on the wall. Easy to use. Some reviews said the release button was too stiff but i do not have that issue at all. The carry case is nice to keep them cleanly stored in the corner of my garage wall. I am very happy with this purchase.
