My husband used this sensor socket to replace the oil pressure sensor on our Dodge Caravan and it worked perfectly. The socket has the feel of good quality and seems really solid.As compared to others that he has used, the sidewalls are thin enough that it gets into tight places where thicker, chunkier sockets did not work in the past. Overall, this does the job, and seems to be good quality.

The socket stripped on 1st use. He couldn't get the oil pressure switch out so we had to go follow someone's socket.

I hate that special tools are needed for something as simple as changing a sensor out.That being said, this socket worked perfectly and i got the job done.

Barely fits over the sensor. It goes right over the lip and no further. I was worried it wouldn't get the job done, but with some persistence it did.This socket is really no different than any other brand you'd find at the store, but the price is amazing. Especially since it will probably only be used once. I'm glad I found it.

I have a 2000 Chevy 2500 and replaced all of the upper gaskets. Since I have the intake manifold off I decided to replace the oil sensor and the cam position sensor. This socket fit over the tall sensor perfect. The 99-02 sensors are tall and the 02 and laters are short. If you need to replace a oil sensor this one would work for you.

I wish I had this years ago as it really takes the difficulty of removing an oil pressure sensor in hard to reach locations.The socket is well marked, easy to read and fits really well.I've been very happy with the tools I've purchased from purchased from Workpro and this one is no different.This is also quite helpful to have for the custom fabrication I perform in my little shop, proving absolutely useful and justifiable, considered a solid tool investment, one which will last for many years and provide years of dependable service.I can't see any reason this socket couldn't be used every day in a shop setting and it really does help, being a time saving device, allow you to complete your job in a more time effective manner with a professional finish.Nice tool!

This fit perfectly on the oil pressure sensor/sender on my 2008 silverado 5.3L.With enough extensions and flexible sections, I was able to remove the sensor with just the engine cover removed instead of taking off the entire plenum.Works good, snug fit with no slack. Feels heavy and made well, socket walls are thick (not that they need to be for a sensor) which allows for other uses of this odd sized socket.Came coated in a thin coat of oil, bubble wrapped and inside of a small box.I would prefer the socket size be punched into the steel versus screenprinted, since regular use will remove that paint.

The quality of the socket is excellent. However I ordered the wrong size. Make sure when ordering to order the part included with the socket key.
