I’ve been needing one of these for awhile. After using someone else’s on the Job, I had to get one. These things are handy as heck! Discovered the blade mounts are standard now, so you can get more from anyone who sells them. It’s important to know the difference between metal and wood blades, that’s all

Cuts soft things okay but struggles with wood, laminate flooring, etc. Tried most of the blades to make sure but no go. Mine started shutting down randomly even with a full battery and the speed dial turned up. Made sure battery connection was solid. Maybe mines a dud. Gave 2 stars because maybe yours won't be and it is handy for some things. My recommendation is to spend a little more for a better tool.

I purchased this to help getting into area of renovation in small areas that a corded tool would not be suitable to use. Well it started off fine, but then the next time using it the saw worked for about 30 seconds and then shut off, and I would turn it off and back on again it would only work for another 30 seconds and again shut off. The switch seemed to be hot when I switched it off and back on. I am going to be returning it. I'm disappointed as it looked like a quality product.
