Use the Grainfather Wortometer together with the Grainfather Connect Control Box thermometer, to accurately measure and control your wort temperature when transferring to the fermentation tank. Avoids a long latency period and unwanted tastes. Adjust your wort and water flow from the Grainfather counterflow cooler by setting the exact temperature of the wort your specific yeast needs. Requires 8mm inner diameter silicone hose.

Being able to easily monitor the output temperature of the wort after passing through the chiller is very convenient. The added bonus of using the Grainfather's temperature probe allows me to easily see the temperature via the app or the display on the controller. Well worth having.

Great product. After a couples trial runs I am able to chill my wort using the CFC to 68 F using less than 20 gallons of water in under 15 mins. Once I hit 75ish I start transfer to fermentation vessel.

So easy and takes advantage of the Grainfather sensor. This should have come with the Grainfather but happy to buy it as an add-on. Makes brewing 3% easier!

This tends to leak quite a bit - even with a worm clamp on it. Once you get used to seeing about a pint of hot wort on the floor after each five gallon batch you don't think about it. It makes for a big mess when it is time to clean up, however. It does the job so it gets 3 stars and a minus one (-1) pint.

Very high quality construction and a beautiful shiny object. Unfortunately the temperature probe from my Grainfather Connect easily falls out when inserted; the silicone seal seems to push it back out. I fixed this by wrapping a wider and longer tube around it, and now the probe stays put. Though kinda weird they didn't figure this out when testing the product.

Great for determining wort temp while cooling! Only con is the ends are not barbed for better grip with the tubing.
